The table height easily adjusts for comfort while eating, writing or reading and features an attractive wood-grained laminate top that is designed to resist damage. The overbed bedside table is for those with substantial limitation to their mobility and or handicapped that would require support when performing their daily routines i.e. eating, drinking, reading while in bed. The overbed table can also be lowered in height to serve as a wheelchair table.

The video above is an instructional assembly video that will assist in properly putting together your Vaunn Medical Tilt-Top Overbed Bedside Table. This product is ideal for those who have mobility issues, such as handicapped and disabled individuals, or anyone with physical limitations or injuries. Upon opening the package that contains the product, you will receive a number of items that will be used in the assembly process. You will receive the following components:

1x Large tabletop

1x Small tabletop

1x Draw pipe

1x Column assembly

1x Base

2x Casters without locks

2x Casters with locks

2x Bolts

1x Bolt plate

1x Triangle Knob

1x Spacer

1x Dust Cap

1x Chrome screw

Please note that a 16mm wrench and a Philips Screwdriver are needed for the assembly.

Step 1: Lay the two tabletops on a flat surface with the Mounting Tubs facing upward. Insert the Inner Tube through the Mounting Tubes.

Step 2: Insert the Draw Pipe at the other end of Mounting Tubes. Use a screw driver (or any long tool) to push the Draw Pipe into the Inner Tube.

Step 3: The draw pipe should then appear on the other end of the Inner Tube. Insert the spacer and then secure the Triangle Knob on the Draw Pipe.

Step 4: Insert Dust Cap at the opposite end of Mounting Tubes.

Step 5: Prepare the Base and Caster Wheels on a table. Insert the Caster wheels with Locks on the side with 2 holes. (You will hear a “click” sound once wheel is engaged.)

Step 6: Insert the Casters without locks on the other side. (You will hear a “click” sound once wheel is engaged.)

Step 7: Position Base over the Column Assembly. Place the Bolt Plate over the mounting holes. Secure the Bolt Plate with the two pieces of 3/8” #18 UNF Bolts. Tighten the bolts using a wrench.

Step 8: Turn the table upright. To activate the height adjustment, remove the black transport screw on the Column Mechanism. (Do NOT remove the two screws below the black transport screw; otherwise the table will be damaged irreversibly)

Step 9: Replace the black transport screw with the Chrome Mounting Screw provided. Your Table is now ready for use.

Table can easily become unstable

Be sure to check that the locking mechanism is setup properly. Numerous people find that if it doesn’t lock correctly
the table will be unstable.
Still awaiting a fix

The table looks real nice but......

My husband is getting out of the hospital and I thought that I would get as much stuff as possible to make him comfortable, so I bought this table. It looks real nice but when I opened the box, it had only one page of instructions.....and it was the 3rd page. Alot of the work to put it together was pretty much a no brainer but I still looked up the instructions and all they had was a video. I think I played it 20 or 30 times before I got some of the specifics done. It said it takes 15 minutes but it took me an hour and what it also doesn't say is you need tools. Luckily my husband was a mechanic so we had alot of tools here, but I am not the one who usually used them so this was a real learning experience!
